Together with our supporters, and 15 years of campaigning for an end to the intensive breeding of big cats in captivity, the first ground was broken by an announcement from government that this industry will be phased out and banned.

The fight is far from over: We need your help to ensure this decision is followed through and implemented in its entirety, and not diluted or only partly.

We need your help for the second part of this chapter: ensuring that animal welfare is at the core of any decision-making and that this landmark decision to end the intensive breeding of lions in captivity is implemented without any flaws or failures.
