Motswako Night

This event inspires and is inspired by the diversity in people, cultures and music, with Free State born Hip-hop artist, MC and songwriter Letsopa la Rucca partnering up with Lifestyle Explore bring you "Motswako Night". "Motswako" (Motsoako) is a Tswana (Sotho) word meaning mixture and this word has been popularised by the Southern African Hip-hop style that introduced mixing one's mother tongue in Hip hop/rap lyrics and this has since given birth to a new sound in South Africa and even Botswana.

Letsopa la Rucca will be performing his latest and older music with the Last Sunday Sessions live band and sharing the stage with King Stabber (Hip-hop artist and producer) and G Major O (Poet). Music is not the only thing to enjoy on the evening or night, there will be a variety of markets in place to sell food, drinks and products for purchase in support of local small businesses.
