Join us for our first JoziConnect session for 2016 where Nate Levin (producer at IMVU) will be talking about how you can jump start your career as an indie game developer. Nate will also discuss the current gaming landscape, the keys to success in the market, as well as the future opportunity for virtual reality. 
 

Modern game engines like Unity and it's asset store have made it easier than ever to create a game.  Nate will show also show how you can bring your game to an audience of millions with the IMVU publishing platform and API for Unity.  Founded by Eric Ries (of the Lean Startup) and Will Harvey in Silicon Valley, IMVU is the largest avatar based social network with 3 million monthly active users. Unity is a flexible and powerful development platform for creating multi-platform 3D and 2D games and interactive experiences. It's a complete ecosystem for anyone who aims to build a business on creating high-end content and connecting to their most loyal and enthusiastic players and customers.
 

Nate joined IMVU in 2014 supporting the company’s efforts in Mobile Development. Mr. Levin’s background includes serving as a Lead Designer, a Games Producer and a Music director. Nate is currently focused on new developer relations; experience, apps and games development for IMVU, with emphasis on WebGl, Mobile Native and VR.  Also an avid traveler, and Nate is proud that South Africa is the 80th country he's visited.
