Sight for Lily

ABOUT

Lilly has been surrendered to BRAG due to unfortunate circumstances. She turned 1 year at the end of April 2021.

As some of you may already know it was reported to us upon surrendering that Lilly is blind. We had Dr Goodhead from the Johannesburg Animal Eye Hospital check her out and it turns out that Lilly has cataracts. The feedback is that she is a very good candidate for cataract surgery.

Lilly is currently in JHB but will be flying to CPT at the end of May where she will be going to Beagle in Mind for assessment. Beagle in Mind will be taking her for a follow up (pre-op) appointment with Dr Boucher at the Cape Animal Eye Hospital in Panorama. Thereafter she will have the surgery on a agree'd upon date.

The estimated cost is R21500 - R27000 . We would like to aim for R25000 given the moneys already raised toward's Lily's care that is left over after her first appointment with Dr Goodhead. Also in order to cover her food and such.
