SPEAKER BIO


Lusanda Jiya is the Managing Partner at CSR Africa Consulting Partners. She is an experienced executive with specialist expertise in Advocacy and Stakeholder Mobilisation, Strategic Communication, Transformation and Corporate Social Investment from across a variety of industries including aviation, energy, water and sanitation, financial services, petrochemicals, IT, education, NGO's and arts and culture. She has also worked for government mobilising stakeholders in support of government programmes and service delivery at national, provincial and local level.

She has more than 20 years strategic and management experience leading and managing strategic support divisions mainly in the public sector, both at corporate level and in project execution. In addition, she has managed relationships with diverse stakeholders including government, organised business and civil society organisations in South Africa and across the African continent.


It is this wealth of experience that she brings to the consulting practice on stakeholder relationship management, being able to demonstrate through practical examples and case studies what success (and failure!) to manage stakeholder concerns looks like in the real world.


She is now an independent consultant, working with business leaders and teams to optimize strategy execution through advocacy and stakeholder mobilisation advice that assists them to embed relationships management, manage risk, leverage enabling decisions and mobilize supportive actions from stakeholders, both in the corporate and project execution environments.


CSR Africa Consulting Partners has clients in a variety of sectors including financial services, motor manufacturing, management consulting, advertising and academic institutions. The service offering includes:

·       Coaching – individual coaching to professionals wishing to enhance their expertise in stakeholder management;

·       Training – group workshops for individuals and teams covering stakeholder management theory and practical tools on embedding practice in their work environment;

·       Strategy Development and Implementation Support – support to the business, from strategic plan to stakeholder engagement and troubleshooting during execution.


Lusanda has an *MBA from Gordon Institute of Business Science, as well as a Master of Arts from the University of KwaZulu Natal. She is a qualified educator with post-graduate qualifications in education from Rhodes University and the University of KZN.
