Join us for the 'Final Applause', an immersive murder mystery experience!
Dinners To Die For are on a mission to offer support to Hope SA food drives in KZN and JHB after the recent crisis.
Come and join us from anywhere in the world to enjoy an immersive online murder mystery experience as you investigate a prominent case and help us catch the guilty party. Only R350 per device, and all profits will go to the organisation to aid those affected by the riots. This is not your usual online experience, there will be professional actors in character who will perform live in front of your screens. The game's host provided by our UK partner, Twinwoods adventure, will immerse you into the 1950s Smooth Gin Casino's Amber Ballroom through a hybrid of live performances and engaging video content. The Lead Detective and Support Detective, Lauren Law and Lee Justice, will coordinate the investigation and interrogate the suspects for the truth in order to find out who murdered our victim! You'll have to keep your wits about you as you will have the chance to investigate the suspects and interact with the actors in role as they answer your questions and attempt to throw you off!! It's a race against time to discover who the murderer is as you compete against other teams from anywhere in the world!

HOW THE MYSTERY WORKS
Upon arrival you will be escorted into to the virtual enchanting Smooth Gin' Casino's Amber Ballroom, where you be greeted by our host. The show will unfold before you and an unexpected murder will take place. Shortly after, the detective will appear and declare the Amber Ballroom a crime scene. During the evening, you will assist the lead detective in interrogating the suspects, gather clues and once the coroner has released the medical report, you will examine the evidence. At the end of the evening, you will decide who you think the murderer is and the guilty party will be put on house arrest.
Recommended: 2 users per device for optimum viewing and experience
Dress up: 1950s
There will be prizes for the best dressed and for the three sleuths who crack the case first.

Review: It’s All Fun & Games With Dinners To Die For
I do a lot of stuff. Like, A LOT. All the time. So sometimes it’s a little difficult for me to be impressed. Which is terrible, I know, and I feel like a dork even saying it. But it’s true. The good thing, though, is that if something genuinely fantastic comes along, I’ll be over the moon. And that’s exactly the experience I had with the Dinners To Die For experience at Bu Ya Ramen & Sake Bar this past weekend.

Murder Mystery Dinner at La Bottega
December 9, 2018 Looking for a bloody good night out in Cape Town full of mystery, suspense and excitement?
The moment you walk through the door you will be immersed in a thrilling experience, mingling with crazy characters and shady suspects in a game of murder you get to play! On arrival you receive a welcome drink as you browse through a selection of props and costumes to help you get into character. Prior to the event a character brief is sent to all guests involved that includes anything from background and alibi, to the relationship with the victim. There are a total of eight to ten suspects at each table. As soon as everyone is seated, the mystery will begin. The Police Chief and Detective will lead the investigation, providing extra clues throughout the event. There are also a couple of clues scattered around the table to help with the investigation. As you gather all the clues you can interrogate suspects around the table to gain more information. All suspects must answer truthfully according to their scripts. The lies are built into the script so even the murderer doesn’t know whodunit! Prizes are up on offer for those who can crack the case as well as for the best character.Looking for a fun-filled event for your next birthday party? This is super fun and very interactive. Nothing like enjoying a great meal with friends whilst finding yourself being part of a fictitious murder mystery.
