AKA "Talking Drum" is an household name that needs no introduction to the jazz scene and recording studios in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
As a drummer/composer/pianist from Gugulethu, Cape Town, his unique style of play and work ethic has earned him opportunities to record and share stages with contemporary musicians both home and abroad. In the words of Tefo, "my music is a true translation of my character and nature, with each song being an extension to a specific trait".
This evening's performance is a rare and special opportunity for listeners to engage and embrace this phenomenal musician in an intimate space, as they share original tunes from their archive and debut album "First Offering".
