ABOUT

PALM-OLIVE:

A FOOD EXHIBITION BY KHANYA MZONGWANA

The Mutha_Ship Landing is proud to collaborate with culinary artist and author Khanya Mzongwana in presenting Palm-Olive, a food exhibition curated by Mzongwana. Hailing from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, this young chef has interrupted the food world with considered recipes that carry with them dynamic, trailblazing tastes with a compassionate sprinkling of nostalgia. An audacious and exciting food artist, Khanya continues to interfere with the boundaries of traditional taste with an inviting vulnerability, and we want to celebrate this process with her. We wondered if you would join us?

In the spirit of honouring the colour and lifting nature of this food artist's work, the Mutha_Ship Landing has collaborated with The Electric juice bar and we cannot express how excited we are to fill this beautiful venue nestled in the historical District Six with the unrelenting sound of satisfied souls and stomachs. If you know anything about Mutha_Ship Landings, you will know that good feelings always prevail.

Join us on the 1 May 2021 for art, laughs, music, but mostly for an unbelievable and customised food journey presented by Khanya Mzongwana and their sous chef Aya Matomela.

Ticket sales are limited and available at R 800 each for a full, good, day out.
