Drive-In Eastgate, A Family Easter

It's not about the Film but the Experience!

Travel back to a simpler time at #IconicEastgate's Drive-In on the Rooftop, 1 April 2021 to 1 May 2021. This nostalgic entertainment is making it's way back into the spotlight, on the Rooftop at Entrance 12. There will be two screenings per evening (at 6pm and 8pm) every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which will be voted for right here on our social media pages.

It’s family Easter time, and the big screen calls for fun and family-themed viewing. Vote for your favourite family films from the lists below, and the ones with the most votes will be on your drive-in big screen from 1 to 4 April. Your ticket covers both films on your chosen drive-in evening, and comes with complimentary popcorn!

Water, soft drinks, popcorn and sweets will be available at the Drive-In on the Rooftop, while scrumptious eats and drinks from #IconicEastgate's restaurants will also be available for order.

FAQ:

How do I access the Drive-In?

All roads lead to the Rooftop! Access the Rooftop via County Road, proceed to entrance 8 or 12 and follow the signage.

Is there food available at the Rooftop?

Food for delivery is available from Cloud Dine, Spur, Steers, Debonairs Pizza, Fishaways, Harpers. You are welcome to bring your own food but we would appreciate it if you would please support the restaurants and their staff :)

How do I hear the film?

The sound comes through your car radio on 108FM, no car radio? No problem, bring a portable one :)

Can I park anywhere?

Our ushers will meet you at the entrance and allocate you a parking spot that's best for you. They are there to help you so please listen to them.

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes one vehicle, two films and complimentary popcorn. Your ticket is only valid for the day you have booked it.

What happens if it rains?

Your car will get wet :D If it is heavy rain the screening will be moved to the following week, on a week day.

COVID Regulations?

Masks, masks, masks! If at any point you leave your vehicle, masks are compulsory at all times. Wash or Sanitize your hands after touching any surfaces and do not touch your face at any time.

Can I sit outside my car on camping chairs?

Absolutely, but remain within the space allocated to your vehicle and socially distance of 2m at all times.
