Southern Rights & Wrongs
We are super excited to announce that our upcoming Southern Rights & Wrongs event will be a collaboration with AfrikaBurn.
AfrikaBurn is the spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather once a year in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance.
For those of you who have been to the Burn, you’ll agree that even if you don’t land up building an art work, a theme camp or a mutant vehicle, you definitely will build some character whilst out in the desert. It is with this in mind, that we are pleased to announce that the theme for the next event will be:
Building Character
The event will see 10 brave storytellers who through highs and lows, trials and errors, wind storms and dust devils emerge from the desert or the other side of an ordeal having built some character along the way. If you have a story please get in touch - [email protected]
- The date for the next event is: Tuesday 20 April 2021
- Venue: AB HQ, Junction Hotel, 8 Junction Road, Salt River
- Ticket sales open at 12h00noon on Friday 26 March 2021.
All proceeds for the event will be donated to AfrikaBurn, who, like many others in the events industry have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and are struggling to make ends meet.
Tickets are limited to 70 in venue tickets (COVID restrictions) and are being sold at R200. Set an alarm, because they tend to sell out quickly.
Online tickets will also be available starting at R50 a ticket to stream from your home.
Since this is a fundraising effort, consider purchasing an online stream ticket at a more expensive price.
