The seminar is based on the book called the Essential Finance Handbook for business owners - 7 basic steps for managing your financial performance by Precious Mvulane. Who is the facilitator?
Precious Mvulane
Precious is the Managing Director of GAD Consulting Services Inc., referred to as GAD. She is a chartered accountant and registered auditor registered with the South African Institute for Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and Independent Registered Board for Auditors (IRBA). Precious has over 15 years of finance experience in both the public and private sectors. This includes 9 years in senior management roles such as Chief Financial Officer.
Precious’ other experience
Precious is involved in several organisations on oversight structures. She is the Audit Committee Chair of LifeCo UnLtd. In the public sector, she currently serves 4 public entities and national department as an audit committee member and chairs two of those committees. She is also a guest lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.
Precious achievements
Precious was recently awarded the 2nd runner up award at the Small Business Champion Awards 2014 - Woman in Business. She was selected as one of top 15 Changemaker for 2013 by Spark International Inc. due to her business model which mixes both social and economic issues.
She is a fellow Aurik Entrepreneur and Branson Centre for entrepreneurship member. Through her leadership at GAD, the organisation was awarded the overall Ligugu Lami award and the Gauteng winner for 2013.
Precious facilitates workshops on several topics such as governance, tax compliance and financial management to over 2 500 business owners, which lead her to write her first book called The Essential Finance Handbook for business owners - 7 basic steps to manage your business financial performance.
