ABOUT
With Aidan Lewis (Baritone) and Tersia Harley (accompanist), featuring Anna Du Plessis and TeNeale Meaker.
Recorded live at the Pinelands Players clubhouse.
Back for a second run, I will be performing songs that formed part of my theater awakening. From characters in musicals I one day hope to portray, and those I will never be able to perform in character.
This concert will feature music from composers such as Sondheim, Lloyd-Webber, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Menken.
The repertoire is as following:
- Sunset Boulevard overture
- Sondheim Medley: I'm Still Here, Send in the Clowns, Nothing's Gonna Harm You
- A Whole New World
- All I Ask Of You
- Teachers segment: My high school music teachers spill the tea!
- Younger Than Springtime
- Empty Chairs at Empty Tables
- Not A Day Goes By
It also features flashbacks on my journey from an average music-as-subject pupil to music graduate from Stellenbosch University to Musical Theater in New York by a few of my high school teachers!
Proceeds will go towards my studies in New York as from September 2021.
Kick back, sip a glass of wine and enjoy this virtual concert experience in the comfort of your own home!
Tickets: R50 @Quicket.
