Couch Concerts presents Brazilian Jazz Quartet

ABOUT

Couch Concerts has made a comeback after a short hiatus from the public eye. After successfully presenting its first Christmas Special, the future of Couch Concerts was somewhat uncertain. However, the New Year brought new hope, and the financial support of the National Arts Council has not only made it possible for Couch Concerts to continue, but to grow and prosper into an even bigger venture than before. The funding has enabled us to expand the performance capacity of our platform and to benefit a larger community of musicians. In celebration of this new breath of life, it seemed only fitting to start the 2021 Season off on a positive, Latin, note. The Brazilian Jazz Quartet’s program is a welcomed antidote to the general chaos and angst so many of us are experiencing. Join Amy Campbell (voice/piano), Robert Jeffery (guitar), Graham Strickland (bass) & Jarryd West (drums) for a light-hearted, foot-tapping program of jazz and Latin favourites.
