S.O.S = Save Our Staff Livestream

So for the 3rd time now in less than 18 months, we have had to close our bar down and send our staff home with no idea when we would be able to call them back in.

Phoenix has managed to fight the global pandemic thus far with the help of loyal patrons and amazing staff who just want to get back to work.

This 3rd alcohol ban has forced us to look at a long term plan to keep our business going in the future and to ensure that when lockdown restrictions are lifted, all staff and managment still have a way of earning an income even if we can't right now.

Having had to close down twice already in 12 months, we have managed to predict and plan accordingly for the onset of the current 3rd wave sweeping the country. We are excited to announce that we will be moving Phoenix to a brand new premises less than 1km away from our original location! Our new premises is currently being prepped to welcome you to our bar as soon as restrictions allow. From now, until then, with no exact date in mind, we need your help to put some funds to put into our staffs accounts so they can survive till we can open again. No support in any form has been provided by government for anyone in the entertainment industry, so we are doing what we can to keep the Phoenix flame burning with your help.

We will be hosting a live stream with a few guest DJs mixing up the Phoenix flavour right in your lounge on Saturday the 17 July! Your ticket money and donations will assist us in supporting all our staff till we are allowed to trade again. We will also be celebrating Renno's birthday on the day so please get yourself a streaming ticket, hook your smart TV or Laptop up to some big speakers and party at home with us from 5pm till 12am!
