How to Create Peace In Your Life - Saturday 6th February 2021


In these modern times, peace can feel incredibly illusive. Even though we have made unbelievable technological and material advances, this has not led to a similar increase in our experience of peace and happiness. Indeed, it can be said that people today experience far greater mental unrest, like anxiety and depression, than what people experienced in the past.

Why is this?

According to Buddha, this is because we have not cultivated inner peace, the source of our happiness. Buddha taught that without inner peace, outer peace if impossible.

In this course, Buddhist Nun, Gen Kelsang Mila, will guide meditations in particular on the practice of putting ourselves and others on an equal footing, a powerful method to make our mind peaceful and our relationships harmonious and will be teaching on the practice of patience and acceptance.

 

We would love you to join us 15 minutes before the Zoom class starts to settle in and meet the other attendees. You can also ask any questions during the course using the Zoom Chat facility and are most welcome to stay connected and meet Gen Mila after the course.
