Event is online

ABOUT

Section 7A(3)(a) of the Pension Funds Act says that the FSCA may prescribe the minimum level of skill a member of the board (trustees) of a pension fund must attain to be considered fit and proper for the role. The levels of skills and training must be obtained within six months of the appointment as trustee and be maintained throughout their term of appointment. The minimum skills were confirmed in FSCA Conduct Standard 4 of 2020 (RF) - Minimum Skills and Training Requirements for Board Members of Pension Funds, issued on 10 July 2020. At present the minimum skills will be met when a trustee completes the FSCA Trustee Toolkit.

The session aims to assist people who want to complete the FSCA Trustee Toolkit. Times are from 09h00 to 13h00. All participants are encouraged to register on the FSCA Toolkit website before the training session and also check that they are able to access all the features of the site.
