In a world where there is no shortage of adversity ingredients: the pandemic, market turbulence, social injustice, declining public trust, a 24/7 news cycle, time pressure, for that this is a recipe for burnout, withdrawal or self protection. For the resilient, these factors evoke values over volatility, understanding over uncertainty, agility over ambiguity, courage instead of complexity thus igniting motivation, optimism and creativity. How do you respond to the unpredictable? How does this impact you ability and your ability to lead? Resiliency at this core, is the ability to either resist shock or bounce back from set back, adversity sooner. And simple put the ability to bounce back from negative emotions sooner.
