ABOUT
Experience Johannesburg like never before on the Cabin Crew Tours’ The BIG Jozi Experience. After being picked up from your hotel we will visit the world famous Lion Park.
At the Lion Park you will come face to face with some of Africa’s most feared predators – including over 85 lions and other carnivores! For the brave you will also get to interact and spend some time with massively cute lion cubs. Your tour guide will take photos of you with the lion cubs which will be sent to you after the tour.
Next up on the itinerary is a drive by of the famous FNB Orlando Stadium – where many of the 2010 Soccer World Cup games were played. Next up is the Apartheid Museum – this museum documents the sometimes dark history of South Africa and the Apartheid era in particular. Here you will get to interact with history like never before.
Following lunch in the colourful and vibrant Vilakazi Street we will stop off at the house of infamous South African leader, Nelson Mandela& Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Going back into history for one last time we will visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial – the location where a young Hector Pieterson was shot during a march.
Depending on the weather we will end the day overlooking the city with a visit to Orlando Towers. This thrilling landmark offers near 360° views of the city of gold – that is if you can brave the open elevator ride up the side of the one tower (don’t worry – it’s safe!).
