The story of Mpho Motheane and David Shuping, and Uvimba:

IN 1993, singer Mpho Motheane and pianist David Shuping formed a project called Mpho and Friends with three band members. They felt that the project needed more sounds and vision was to have a sound that is unique and rich texture of their own traditional and as well as Afro-fusion elements, the band was later known as Mpho and Uvimba.
