CASA KONGO #10: Fuata Moyo Launch Party

Casa Kongo has and will always will be about community - this isn't possible without all of YOU.

That's why for this edition of Casa Kongo, we've decided to do something special in support of a locally owned family business called Fuata Moyo.

They recently got the opportunity to open their first clothing store at EGG Concept Retail in Cavendish Mall, but unfortunately had a tough time putting the collection together due to the difficulties of manufacturing small volumes as a start up. They are now crowdfunding in hopes of raising enough money to build their own in-house studio and continue growing their clothing business!

We wanted to create an audio and visual experience that gives everyone full scope of what the fam is capable of so along with great music, there also be an art auction, a customization stand for sneakers, jackets, shirts and hats, and a chance to chat to the names behind the brand to see what the hype is about!

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TOWARDS FUATA MOYO'S CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN.

Fuata Moyo is co-owned by siblings, Kabambi, Martine, Lucien and Tshimaro Mbiola who come from a creatively gifted family with art and design embedded in their DNA. Fuata Moya is about continuing the family legacy and taking it to new heights by creating unique pieces that bring together the very best of art and fashion.
