ABOUT THE BANDS & PERFORMANCES
Mike Gwenyambira and Akedemuuuu Band is a Cape Town-based Zimbabwean band that has been touring around Cape Town and Johannesburg since 2006, doing live concerts and festivals. Deliwe hit maker Mike Gwenyambira formed Akedemuuuu Band in 2014 before playing with different bands and artists. He also plays Solo as Mike Music.
— The night's trio will be playing mbira (thumb piano), electric guitar, and drum kit / djembe drum.
AshweetA is a trio consisting of Curve on Bass and Vocals , Wayde on Percussion and Dan on Guitars. The music moves through South African fusion to the world , incorporating Psychedelic Goema , Afro-dub , Funk and Jazzy folk grooves.
