ABOUT

Rietvlei Nature Reserve, just 20 kilometres from the Pretoria city centre, consists of rolling hills and plains abounding with game. Hikers usually see blesbok, black wildebeest, springbok and zebra and the reserve is home to white rhino and Cape buffalo. Please join us for a 3 hour walk in the reserve and then a brunch afterwards.

A qualified guide from Rietvlei Nature Reserve for each 10 guests. Two guides available. Thus, only 20 spaces available.

Time:

Arrive from 7am (Report to Reception - then drive to coffee shop)

Hike Start: 8am (From the coffee shop)

Brunch 11am (drinks for own account)

Maintain at least 2 meters between hikers.

Wear a face mask or buff. No physical contact.

By buying a ticket you accept you indemnify Start Hiking Today and the EVENT LEADERS against any claim which you or your family or our VENUE OWNERS may have in respect of any loss, damage or personal injury, death, medical or hospital expenses, or any other liability of any nature whatsoever which may be caused by or arise out of the activities of the Club, irrespective of whether such accident, damage, expenses or other losses or injury is caused by negligence or any act or omission on the part of members of the Club. You further agree to abide by the Constitution as well as the Rules and Regulations of the Start Hiking Today.
