Nichelle Gainey is the president of SilverStone International, a full-service business management firm that provides tailor-made business strategies and critical access for global sports and business clientele.As the youngest woman appointed to the prestigious 2010 FIFA World Cup Planning Committee, by the chairman of the African Union in 2006, Nichelle was instrumental in coordinating American involvement as well as providing logistical/IT expertise to the newly built stadiums for FIFA’s 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
She also served in an advisory role on the local organizing committee for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Miranda is South African woman who survived a domestic violence attack, through the hands of her then husband, who after shooting her committed suicide. He left her not only paralysed from the waist down, but also having to pick up the pieces of her life. She has been using a wheelchair for more than 14 years, and very early, had to learn that she could never pity herself. Her aim is getting women who are in denial about their situations to get a wakeup call, and change their circumstances.
