Peace is of a Struggle - Album Launch

Sun Nov 29, 13:00 - Sun Nov 29, 17:00
Naledi Farm

Fronted by Free State-hailing writer and poet Phomolo Sekamotho, better known in arts circles as Flex, the group creates genre-bending soundscapes as the foundation to Flex’ vivid word-smithery. Theirs is a symbiotic blend driven by the power of words, and backed by the heartbeat and soul of music to share the beautiful stories of Africa, accompanied by visually stimulating imagery by Biya Designs.

Peace is of a Struggle picnic-style album launch will feature live music, an exhibition and nature as the different elements culminate. The live musical experience will take place on Naledi Farm, a black-owned recreational space located in Centurion, Laezonia right on the doorstep of the Cradle of Humankind. The ultimate destination for relaxation and tranquility with a focus on growing vegetables and hosting camps for kids -- an opportunity for families to garner and sit under the setting sun. Children who are five years and below will be allowed to enter free of charge.

  • Bring your picnic blanket
  • Food and drinks will be sold
  • Safe and secure parking
  • Cooler boxes allowed at R70.00 corkage

This event is supported and made possible by Naledi Farm, Biya Designs and U-Space (courtesy of Concerts SA's partnership).
