BirdLife South Africa and Iziko South African Museum are hosting the Oceans of Life Photograpy Course in conjunction with the annual Oceans of Life Photographic Competition and Exhibition.The course will be presented by two renowned photographers: Jean Tresfon (https://www.flickr.com/photos/jtresfon/) and Chris Fallows (http://www.apexpredators.com/chris-fallows-art-store/photos-of-the-month/july-2015)
Taking photos of wildlife, both marine and terrestrial, can be a tricky business, especially when your subject is moving around or far away. Award-winning professional photographers Chris Fallows and Jean Tresfon will divulge their trade secrets for taking amazing wildlife photographs!
This photography workshop hosted by wildlife and underwater photographers Chris Fallows and Jean Tresfon will explain several aspects of wildlife photography. Chris Fallows will give insights into getting close to a subject, as well as taking wildlife photos in a terrestrial and marine environment. Jean Tresfon will give the tips and tricks of underwater photography. Lastly, both photographers will draw from their personal experiences and discuss how photo competitions are judged, what makes a winning photograph and what common mistakes entrants make, using images from the Oceans of Life Photographic Competition as examples.
Orms will host a brief talk on printing your images and choosing the right decor print solution.
