FSSO & FSYO present: Concert in the Garden

Sat Nov 14, 19:00 - Sat Nov 14, 20:30
Free State National Botanical Garden

Join the Free State Symphony Orchestra (FSSO) and the Free State Youth Orchestra (FSYO) as they celebrate returning to the stage for their first live combined performance since lockdown started. The Free State National Botanical Garden is the majestic outdoor theatre setting for this celebratory event.

This concert is also a celebration of our local talent. Enjoy the wonderful developing talent of our Free State Youth Orchestra members as they play alongside our more seasoned Free State Symphony Orchestra members.

Guests can look forward to a cello concerto by soloist Anmari van der Westhuizen. The programme for the evening also includes works by celebrated South African composers Arthur Feder and Noel Stockton.

Due to Level 1 regulations, seating will be limited. And although this event is free, we do need to monitor and regulate the number of people who will be attending.
