The perfect event to flaunt your stunning ride and to dress up dapper but also to connect with likeminded folks along the route!Join our Alone-Yet-Together event. Everyone is welcome at our VINTAGE RIDEOUT– be it vintage motorcycles or any other retro-mode of transportation!

We have selected 3 meeting points with broadly set assembly timings of 1 hour, enough time to socially distance and be safe while enjoying the ride. All are welcome with their vintage rides, be it two wheels or four. 

All participants joining the ride and carrying the official VINTAGE RIDE OUT sticker (available at RETZA @ Neighbourgoods market, Old Biscuit Mill) will get a burger (Beef, Chicken or Veg/Vegan) and beer special for R110 at the Deus Café, Hout Bay and a 10% discount in the retail store at The Homestead of Perpetuity, Deus ex Machina, Hout Bay.*

For those wanting something extra, we’ve added an ‘Amazing Race’ along the route. Follow the clues and complete the tasks at each spot to stand a chance to win fantastic prices sponsored by RETZA Enfield Rides and Deus ex Machina, Africa. Starting point for the ‘Amazing Race’ will be at the at the RETZA market stand @ Old Biscuit Mill, Neighbourgoods market. Details to follow.

This is not your typical organized ride. It’s flexible yet offers the opportunity to ride together in a safe way. Follow the route at your own pace and time – and if you spot other riders along the way or at the assembly point, say “Hi”, join in for a coffee and finish your ride at The Homestead of Perpetuity, Hout Bay for lunch. You can’t go wrong.

Got no vintage ride? No Problem. RETZA offers a Vintage Ride Out Special on their Royal Enfield motorcycles. Only R500 (rental) on this day. Pickup/Return 11am-3pm. 

HERE’S THE VINTAGE VIBES ROUTE.

Start 11am-12am

The Old Biscuit Mill - Assembly at the entrance of the Saturday Market. We love the Neighbourgoods market. Enjoy a coffee or grab a sumptuous breakfast with buddies. 

Middle 11.30noon-12:30pm

Street Café Food Truck along Victoria Road, 1km from Camps Bay. Stop here for a coffee and enjoy the stunning scenery.

End 12:30-1:30pm

Deus Café – The Homestead of Perpetuity in Hout Bay. Complete the ride at this stunning mecca for vintage and custom enthusiasts. Enjoy a burger and beer special for R110 and a 10% discount in the retail store when presenting your Vintage Ride Out sticker.

You can also peruse the Sealand Pop-Up offering a Sealand and Deus Sample Sale as well as other local cool brands: Mami Wata, Float and Good Good Good.
