Carla Stokes Band At The Raptor Room

Carla Stokes is a 20-something tenor saxophonist, clarinettist, composer/arranger and music educator based in Cape Town. She completed her BMus degree in Jazz Studies at UCT's College of Music in 2018. Since then she has performed with various big bands and combo bands, such as The UCT Big Band, The Mike Campbell Big Band, The Lady Day Big Band, Latin-fusion band Los Tacos, and Swing band, The Pebble Shakers. She recently released her debut single, "Modern Love", in September this year, which is available on all streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube etc).
