ABOUT

Cape Town Craft Club's Monthly Meet Ups are aimed at getting creative people in the city together to craft in a chilled and judgement-free space once a month. Each month we will focus on a different craft and spend the day chatting, drinking, and making something just for the fun of it. This session is hosted by fibre artist and teacher Andie Reeves and is held at The Ladder on Bree Street.

For November's Meet Up we'll be creating embroidered masks! Because if you're going to have to wear something every day you might as well make it cute. All materials to make a unique embroidered face mask from scratch including hoops, thread, needles and fabric, will be provided. Attendees will choose their fabric, transfer and embroider their design onto it, then Andie will stitch their mask together on our on-site sewing machine.

This is an event for anyone who likes to get crafty! So don't worry if you can't sew or don't draw; there will be designs available for you to choose from and you will be guided through the basic stitches needed to add pretty details to a mask.

Join us for a morning of sewing, snacking on pastries, meeting nice people, and drinking delicious coffee courtesy of The Ladder.
