ABOUT

As the digital becomes part of an everyday encounter; galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM) work increasingly to bring the digital into their physical environments.

This is both to enliven installations and exhibitions, and further to connect audiences above and beyond their visits, to knowledge and experiences of the culture and heritage associated with the work on show.

In this panel an exploration is made of the innovations and thinking that lead to development of digitally interactive encounters in cultural spaces and why they are transforming how people encounter and learn about culture.
