IP plays a critical role in the start-ups' ecosystem. Those whose activities include artistic aspects deal with authors’ rights. They need to properly handle them in order to thrive.

This session aims to provide the attendees with a better understanding of authors’ rights and their concrete impact on the businesses they run. It will cover the following topics: Authors’ rights and collective management fundamentals - Digital rights management - How SACEM can contribute to developing the ventures of DLA’s winners: rights clearance, network, support.
