ABOUT

Join Fak'ugesi Festival Director Dr. Bristow with Tshimologong Precinct CEO Lesley Donna Williams & 2020 Partners to meet the 2020 Festival curators and learn about 2020 online programme highlights!

Curators: Vic Bassey (Fak'ugesi Arcade), Elisabeth Efua Sutherland, Faye Kabali-Kagwa, Nkhensani Mkari, PreEmpt Group Collective, Xopher Wallace.

In the development of the African digital creative sector Fak'ugesi Festival found there to be big gap in the number of professionals acting to support the digital arts: curators, producers and general advocates for the meeting of culture and technology on the continent.

In response an exciting new programme was started in 2020 - a Digital Art Curators Bootcamp and an associated Exhibition Commission. From 141 bootcamp applicants, commissions were granted leading to five extraordinary online feature exhibitions in our 2020 Online Festival.

Join us as we celebrate these and explore the exhibitions commissioned and curated for Fak'ugesi Festival Online 2020.
