D4D | Impacting Childrens' Lives

About

Distance For Difference (D4D), is a FOR IMPACT organisation (NPO 182-816) which, over the last fifteen years, made a significant impact in the lives of children. We help children’s charities or individual children in need. We aim to give children a future! We use sport to generate funds for distribution to various organisations involved in caring for children. So far, we’ve raised and distributed more than R7.5 million. (2005 - 2020)

Some of our beneficiaries include Kingdom Kids, Little Angels, Sylvia Foster Home, Tzadokah Foster Home, Ubuntu House, Hagar’s Choice, HELP, Heartlands Baby Sanctuary, Esther van Zyl Foster Care and PATCH Helderberg, just to name a few. We our proud of our track record in terms of the responsible and effective distribution of the funds entrusted to us. We make sure that the money goes where it is really needed and where it will make the most direct impact on children in need.

Due to Covid-19, we cannot plan ahead and finalise any fundraising (physical) events, like THE500 or The GRATITUDE Run, for 2021. We must comply with current Covid-19 restrictions. We were forced to think of alternative ways to raise funds for our cause. We have decided to use Quicket as a platform to receive donations for our beneficiaries throughout this year.

Our yearly fundraising target via this platform is R500,000!

Please support D4D through this initiative and help us to continue to care for vulnerable children in need. You can decide whether you want to make a monthly donation or an once-off donation to our cause . Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in a child's life.
