Chapman's Peak Hike

Join us on a guided hike up Chapman's Peak where we'll hopefully get treated to a clear and cloudless summit! The views from Chapman's Peak are quite stunning: Noordhoek Beach, Hout Bay and the Fish Hoek Valley dominate the show. We hike through 5-year-old veld which is incredibly vibrant this time of year - lots of beautiful fynbos blooms to admire and talk about on our journey.

Route: We do an out-and-back route up Chapman's Peak on standard footpaths which is not too demanding for the moderately fit hiker.

Distance: 6 km

Duration: 4 hrs

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

Grade: A-grade route on footpath

Elevation: 440m gain/loss

Cost: R200 per person (*Needs 6 people for the hike to run)

Group size: Between 6 - 12 hikers.

What to bring:

- Good hiking shoes/boots

- Dress appropriately (hiking or sports wear)

- Sun protection (hat, sun lotion)

- Warm top & rain jacket

- Water: 2 litres per person
