How to make your church stay relevant in the digital age
A new term is thrown around the various media platforms under the phrase “The New
Normal.” Essentially, this means that society is now forced to “move on with the times.” This
process involves doing things differently, cheaper and faster through the aid of technology.
As a matter of urgency, all sectors of the society, most importantly the church, needs to
embark on a journey of transforming its processes to adhere to the new normal. In order to
stay relevant in “such times as these”, Churches now need to find innovative ways to stay
relevant in the digital age by equipping its media teams with relevant skills to enhance their
members’ experience.
Abuti Rams (a tech and digital marketing expert with over 10 years of experience in training
and development) and Cyril Peterson (a leader of a youthful and most innovative church in
Pretoria) have spent years working with both local and global organisations, equipping their
teams with new skills that will improve service delivery and daily operations.
Having mastered these technologies and implemented successful programmes on various
platforms, Abuti Rams and Cyril Peterson will spend two days training and assisting church
media teams to excel and enhance the work of the Kingdom of God using technology
.
