ABOUT
Our Dog Walk and Fun Day for the whole family organised by The Drakenstein Volunteer Animal Rescue organisation and will take place at Topiary Wines on the Wemmershoek Road between Paarl & Franschhoek on 18 October 2015.
Topiary boutique cellar is located in the Wemmershoek Mountain‘s foothills, amongst the fynbos and fauna of Franschhoek Wetlands
The tasting room is set around a magnificent garden of topiary masterpieces.
Topiary was originally a fruit farm called la Tramontane until 2005 when a cellar and a tasting room was built and launched Topiary wines.
Topiary is now owned by 2 French vinophiles who became enchanted with Topiary’s 20 hectares of vineyards.
Philippe Colin is the winemaking partner, from Burgundy where he makes some of the most acclaimed wine of Chassagne Montrachet.
Philippe’s business partner Serge Jaczynski is a sommelier from Southern France who counts amongst his clients Michelin 3 star restaurants and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who’s wine he represents.
We will have different routes to walk your dog.
It promises to be an enjoyable day with lots of fun and exercise!

Come have a Breakfast (Bacon & Egg Roll) and coffee, have a good walk and then enjoy our Homemade Hamburgers or Boerewors Rolls before going home in time for your Sunday afternoon nap.

- There will be a Treasure hunt on route where you and your dog can try to find some hidden treats.
- We will have different competitions with lots of prizes.
- Lucky draws will be done.
- There will be Dog Jumping, Carting and Flyball demonstrations ( See Pictures oh the TAB )
- You will see the Dancing Dogs
- Hamburgers & Boereword Rolls will be on sale.
- Coffee and other drinks including wine will be available.
- There will be Product stalls.
- 2nd Hand Books will also be on sale
