Parent Link: Self Care Workshop

Parent Link is a monthly event run by Raising Hope SA to support, equip and educate parents who are raising children of all ages who are impacted by physical or intellectual disabilitites (including autism spectrum disorder). The focus of each meeting is different and of relevance to special needs parents.

For September the focus is on parental self care. Self care is an essential life skill for anyone, but even more important for parents of children with disabilities. This interactive workshop will benefit all parents, regardless of where they are in their journey and will help to equip them with skills, ideas and knowledge for making self-care a priority in their lives despite the many needs and demands of their children. The session will be presented by Counselling Psychologist Xandria Louw.
