TechWomen & Barn Khayelitsha

This is an exciting time in tech because there are more women innovating in major areas of STEM. Join us at the Barn Khayelitsha to celebrate Women's Month by recognising some of the most inspiring women in tech. The tech sector is growing and we're desperate for skill and we need women to be represented in these technical fields. August is South Africa's National Women's Month, a time when we celebrate female empowerment, pay tribute to some of the inspirational women in history and recognize today's most influential female 
 
The TechWomen conference features keynotes, panels, an expo to showcase the talent that exists in the Technology industry, also to educate and inspire, and help stimulate the next generation of talent.

Speakers Include:-

1. Arezoo Miot, Program Director at Institute of International Education (Techwomen Program) 
2. Eileen Brewer, Director Security Appliance Team, Symantec and Professional Mentor in US State Department TechWomen Program
3. Selma Prodanovic, a successful entrepreneur, head of the Austrian Angel investor association and philanthropist. 

The event is organised in collaboration with The  Barn Khayelitsha, Girl Hype and Siliconcape.
