ABOUT

Culture Matters Masterclass

Intro:

In a world that is continuously evolving and where things can change with a drop of a hat, it is now more important than ever to invest in yourself and the people you lead. One constant that we can give to our employees and teams is a culture and work environment where they will know they are safe, there is connection, cooperation and purpose.

What is Culture Matters Sprint Week?

Culture Matters is a 5-day Masterclass on how to create a company and team culture that is filled with meaning, belonging, purpose and identity.

The Sessions will run a Monday to a Friday from 8AM – 9AM via Zoom and promises to be highly informative, interactive and transformational.

Please make sure that you will be available for all 5 sessions.

Who will benefit from Culture Matters?

Culture Matters is for Leaders who want to take their company and the teams they lead to achieve more than they could ever imagine.

What will I learn?

Session 1 - Why Culture Matters

It is often said that Culture eats Strategy for breakfast. Although both are important, Culture will determine performance and how the strategy will be executed.

In session 1, you will have the opportunity to think and assess your organization or team’s culture. You will walk away knowing;

·     Why Culture Matters

·     What are the elements of an extraordinary Culture?

·     What role do you play in your Company’s Culture?

·     Ideas for Action

Session 2 - Safety

To borrow this line from George Derby – “Imagine what can happen when your team have this overwhelming sense of belonging where they can invest all their emotional energies to their roles inside the team.”

In Session 2 we will cover the following topics;

·     Why Psychological Safety is important

·     The Power of Belonging within companies and teams?

·     How to create Belonging.

·     Ideas for Action

Session 3 - Vulnerability

“Exchanges of vulnerability, which we naturally tend to avoid, are the pathways through which trusting cooperation is built” – David Coyle, The Culture Code.

Session 3 is about the power of allowing yourself and others to be vulnerable and how that leads to a culture of cooperation.

Topics included in Session 3 are the following;

·     Image vs Authenticity

·     The Vulnerability Loop

·     Ideas for Action

Session 4 – Purpose

Imagine coming to work and feeling that you are part of something bigger than yourself. Imagine coming to work and think that your work and effort is worth more than the money you make. That is real purpose.

In Session 4 we will discuss;

·     What is a High Purpose Environment and how it is built?

·     The Power of Stories in creating purpose.

·     Ideas for Action

Session 5 - Revolution

What could be possible if all these ideas are put into action? Our final session will be very interactive. We will share ideas and insights on how to implement the ideas in our respective teams and organizations.
