Roots Up Sessions present ABAHAMBAYO at Humble Coffee

Roots Up Session is back!

This time around we are very stoked to bring you ABAHAMBAYO!

ABAHAMBAYO are a musical group from Durban South Africa that aims at preserving African folk music by fusing morden jazz and pop technique to appeal to almost everyone who comes across the music and those wanting to learn about the past and current history of the Zulu folk. The band creates and writes its own music which has been described as enlightening and spiritually fulfilling. ABAHAMBAYO was the winner of the best band category at last year's My Connect competition presented by Gagasi FM and DJ Lab. Starting out as a busking duo, the band has now expanded to incorporate bass and drums to complete the line up. You are not going to want to miss out on this unique act!
