ABOUT

Book your daughter's spot on this dynamic six-week programme designed to empower her with information, support and friendships.

I introduce skills that are designed to:

·        enhance her sense of well-being right now,

·        develop her ability to cope with the world around her and

·        begin to build up knowledge and skills for her future.

The time is designed to catch the girls after their homework is done and before dinner is served, also giving parents some time to unwind from their day.

Every Thursday is aimed at THREE core outcomes:

·        LEARN - gain knowledge and insights that really help girls to grow daily

·        LEAN - provide inspiration and motivation for girls to design their lives and engage with their world

·        LEAD - empower them to find their personal leadership chops and look for opportunities to become an authentic leader in their own style.

These six weeks cover the following specific topics:

1.   Connecting with others

2.   Know myself

3.   Responsibility and boundaries

4.   My routines and habits

5.   Goal setting and self-control

6.   Making decisions

Each week the group will get a support message related to that week's discussion, to remind them about what they now know and how to work on it every day. They are encouraged to get curious and try new skills to get feedback from their world around them to develop their skills.

Every week we talk about what they did differently and what they learnt about themselves during that week. They are encouraged to keep a journal and build their journey.

Parents are included via their daughters. I aim to build the relationship up between you and your daughter by helping her to engage with you. Tasks are given to the girls at the end of a session where they have to approach their parents. I support parents with a message about what to expect and how to allow that connection to flourish.

Group dynamics are important for any successful event. Please make sure you look at the Grade specified for a group programme. I have chosen to group children by grade as often a child who has repeated an academic year fits more comfortably with that age band. If your daughter is not well suited to the group, an alternative group will be suggested and the perfect spot will be found that suits her best.

I am not a therapists and we will not being doing therapy. I am a coach and a mentor, as well as a remedial educationalist. I have qualifications in trauma, coaching, mediated learning as well as facilitation.

The sessions are largely confidential but if anything comes up in the group session that needs additional intervention, or is of concern, then this will be shared immediately with the parents. Safety, physically and emotionally, is the first consideration.
