ABOUT
Professional insights to inform communities on how best to respond to urban wildlife when they are found in a state of emergency or distress.
For people who are passionate about animals, and wildlife, some of the hardest things to deal with is the panic of when you find an animal in need, and have no idea how to respond.
Join us for this interactive webinar where you are able to pose questions, learn from previous cases that Dr Perushan has treated, all while supporting a good cause. This webinar aims to provide some practical information on how to identify an animal in distress, and how best to stabilize them in order to increase their chances of survival.
Dr Perushan is a passionate veterinarian who routinely helps local wildlife rehabilitation centres (such as Friends of Free Wildlife) to treat animals, big and small, when they find themselves in need of a helping hand. BAESAC is a mixed animal clinic caring for & curing all small animals. Not only do we treat dogs & cats, our expertise also extends to birds, reptiles, small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters), monkeys and other wildlife.
Friends of Free Wildlife is a community-based, public-funded volunteer organisation. It was founded in December 2015 by passionate and qualified wildlife rehabilitators with the best interest of our urban wildlife as a founding mandate.
