ABOUT

Dear WIPSA friends

Every organisation will have been impacted in one way or another by the challenges posed by COVID-19. For some, it’s a matter of survival while for others, existing sustainability strategies or specific circumstances may be cushioning their organisation through these challenging times.

Cathy Masters from CMDS, through her extensive experience in advising non-profit organisations on financial management and having guided many through various other crises and tough financial times, will present on the new risks and challenges facing organisations today and will discuss various strategies to deal with these.

Cathy's presentation will focus on:

- Difficult but necessary financial decisions

- The impact of Covid-19 on:

  • revenue and funding
  • employees
  • expenditure
  • sustainability

- Revisiting financial planning - budgeting & cash flow forecasting

Cathy’s presentation will be followed by case studies of non-profit organisations impacted by the Covid-19 crisis and the measures taken to deal with the financial challenges faced by them.
