Milnerton CAN's Virtual Pub Quiz & Raffle

On Thurs, July 30 @ 7 pm we will be embarking on our first ever “Pub” Quiz & CAN Raffle.

Pub quiz master, Jon Keevy will be hosting this exciting event and we hope, together with your help we will make this fundraising effort super successful! Team up (from 2 to 6 players) and collaborate to answer 50 questions correctly. Team names and scores will be posted in the chat. We will use the popular streaming platform Twitch to bring you the quiz, all interaction happens via typed chat (we don't see you, you only see Jon, feel free to rock up in you PJ’s).

Funds raised will assist?

A kitchen in Joe Slovo - Milnerton, fondly named "The Slovo Kitchen" was born out of the current COVID-19 crisis, feeding children and adults with breakfast, and now hearty soup. This is a project of dreams, to be able to serve the community, feed thousands of people while the need exists and then become a viable future business.

All entry fees will go towards their goal of R 150 000.00 to set up the kitchen and make a sustainable community feeding program that will go on long after the lock down. Read their story here.

When is this exciting event?

How does the quiz work?

There will be 5 rounds of questions. Each round is a different knowledge category. As questions are asked you will write down your answers on a piece of paper or in a digital notepad. At the end of each round answers are given and you score yourself. You will then share your score + team name in the chat. 

How do I participate? Follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Buy your ticket here for R 100 per player and create your team of up to 6 max

Please note that you do not need to join the quiz to win raffle prizes and you can enter multiple times to stand a better chance to win
