Event is online

As part of the SU Hackathon, we have included a masterclass in translating our hard work from the weekend into a powerful delivery of your idea to our judging panel.

Anton has close on 25 years of business experience in a diverse range of disciplines and industries. After completing articles with PWC in Paarl, he cut his teeth at Sappi starting as a trainee accountant in the cost office and progressed to the Southern Africa Financial Directors Committee. He gained vast experience in general management ranging from admin and finance to information technology, logistics and inventory management. He joined Natie Kirsh in Eswatini as CFO of his investment corporation in 2002. Here, he served on several boards of multi-national companies and managed operations in the motor trade, agriculture, FMCG distribution, health care and property management sectors. Anton returned to Cape Town in 2009 as a founding member of the Nusolar Group and was MD of SDA, while also serving as Group CFO and Group CEO. The group operated in the renewables sector — primarily in solar water heating. In 2014 Anton started coaching businesses on a full time basis through his company Sologix.

Anton studied accounting at the University of Stellenbosch and Unisa. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa and Eswatini, and was elected as fellow member of CIMA. He is registered with Comensa and is the only elite GrowthWheel certified business advisor in South Africa.

He has a growth mindset, practices and preaches development of leadership skills and demonstrates an ability to forge strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Sologix provides business consulting and coaching services on a face-to-face and online platform basis. The business model canvas developed by Strategyzer and the GrowthWheel online toolkit forms the basis to evaluate and improve on your business model. Through the development of a trust relationship we address the four critical aspects of the business, as defined by GrowthWheel, namely an attractive business concept, a sound organisation, lasting customer relations and profitable operations.

Notable clients include Sarebi, Innovus, TuksNovation, the Innovation Hub and a number of privately owned small to medium sized enterprises. Anton is also a mentor with the AllanGrayOrbis Foundation.
