ABOUT

POWERFUL PARENTING

No matter the age of your children, it’s never too early or too late for this course

Five Saturdays in October (9 am to 11am)

PRESENTED ONLINE via ZOOM

“It is harder to be what is deemed a “good” parent these days. Apart from the challenges that have come along with the electronic age, the standards for “good parenting” have changed dramatically.”

From peer pressure to academic expectations, there are many aspects of modern life that can lead a child or teenager to feel stressed, anxious and worried.”

But these don't help our cause.

As parents we need tools to meet the growing challenges of parenting the modern child. We need powerful methods to support us and enable us to tap into our full potential as parents. We need to establish lasting techniques that will help us navigate parenting in modern life. We also need support and a place to open up about our challenges and have our questions and misgivings heard, understood, and answered.

This course leans on the expertise of the founder and well-known originator of Transactional Analysis, Doctor Eric Berne, and the psychologists, analysts and researchers subsequently born of his school of social psychology. Tapping into the work of Claude Steiner, Stephen Karpman, Susannah Temple, and Jean Illsley Clarke, and the skill and experience of a Certified Transactional Analyst and member of the International Association of Transactional Analysis, Marguerite Sacco brings you

POWERFUL PARENTING.

ABOUT:

Transactional Analysis (TA) is a practical psychology that gives us easily understood models of awareness and skills for effective human interactions. It is particularly useful as a parenting tool.

TA believes that there is an Adult in every one of us, that develops from a very early age. If we, as parents, can focus on, and help grow the Adult within we stand a chance to develop the maturity and self-awareness that our children need to become resilient, thoughtful, functional and effective in society and within the family.
