Due to the massive impact on the industries many people are without work and cannot provide for themselves or their families.

The industries are made up of many independent, freelance and casual workers who have been unable to claim TERS UIF benefits.

Many businesses in the sector have not and will not survive in the coming months.

Upon seeing calls for support in the form of food & essentials for the industry, the Hair & Beauty Industry Support Foundation (HBIS Foundation) was formed.
