Prof. Yanfang Ren

Dr. Ren is currently Professor of Dentistry at University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Rochester, New York, USA.

He is the Director and Clinic Chief of dental urgent care at the University of Rochester Medical Center and has been involved in providing dental emergency care to over 4000 patients in the past two months. He will share his experiences in providing dental care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Zhuan Bian

Dr. Bian is professor and Dean of Wuhan University School of Stomatology, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. He is also a Vice President of the Chinese Dental Association.
 

COVID-19 was first reported in Wuhan, China in December, 2019. Dr. Bian will describe how dentists in China deal with the pandemic and share his valuable insights in providing dental care during COVID-19 and beyond.

Dr. Tshepiso Mfolo

Dr Mfolo is the Vice President of the Paedodontic Society of South Africa (PSSA). She is also a lecturer in the Department of Community Dentistry at University of Pretoria with a keen interest in Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry.

Dr. Mfolo was one of the PSSA Executive members at the 1st Global ECC Summit , Bangkok, Thailand (2018); and is the South African Representative at the  IAPD -Early Childhood Caries Advocacy Group.

Dr. Nadine Moelich

Dr. Nadine Moelich obtained her degree in 2000 from the University of Pretoria.

In her pursuit to offer the best possible 
dental experience to her paediatric patients she trained to use Nitrous Oxide Sedation and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatric dentistry at the University of Pretoria (2016).

She is now a full-time academic dentist and lecturer at the University of Pretoria in the Paedodontics division, where she conducted research in determining the cariogenic potential of sugar substitutes as partial fulfilment of her MSc degree (2019).

Dr. Clyde Keevy

Dr Clyde Keevy qualified as a dentist from the University of Pretoria in 1988. He has been in private dental practice in Morningside, Sandton, for more than three decades.

Dr. Keevy offers a full spectrum of general dentistry including preventative dentistry, restorative, reconstructive and aesthetic dentistry. He has a special interest in patients with sleep disordered breathing problems, obstructive sleep apnea, upper airway resistance syndrome and snoring.

Prof. Neil Myburgh
Currently the Acting Dean of the UWC Faculty of Dentistry, Prof Myburgh is a specialist in Community Dentistry with expertise in Health Research Ethics, Oral Health Policy, Dental Public Health.

Dr. Glynn Buchanan

Dr. Buchanan is appointed as a lecturer and dentist in the Division of Endodontics at the University of Pretoria. He is also engaged in part-time private practice limited to endodontics.

His research 
interests include endodontic treatment and dental anatomy.

Dr. Amanda Marais
Dr. Marais is the owner of a child-focused dental practice called "DinoDent" since January 2015.

She earned her MSc in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of the Western Cape in 2014, and is a regular expert contributor to various
publications, magazines and media on children's oral health. She also has a very cute dental assistant pup who helps put her little patients at ease.
