So Strictly Vinyl has been hosted in many venues in the southern suburbs of Cape Town over the past 12 years now. It started as homage to the analog era of DJing and provided a platform for the older generation of DJ to get together and drop tracks that took them back to many of the cities biggest and most popular clubs of the 90s and 2000s.
It’s Old School done the authentic way appreciated by anyone who attended clubs like Galaxy, Images, Arena, Dockside, West End, Cinnamon, Barmooda, Lambégo Lounge or parties like The Usual Suspects and AfterDark.
With our country in current lock down, we have gotten together a few of our regular DJs who are keen to drop some records and connect with lovers of old school for our very first online event!
Get your self some drinks, hook your computer or phone up to a massive sound system & tv and join 4 cape town club legends bring you the best in Jazz, House, R&B, Hip Hop and Dance from the 90’s & 2000’s right in your living room!
We will be working with Quicket to create a virtual party online that will not be subject to the irritating live stream take downs of other social media platforms.
It’s a musical journey down the rich heritage of Cape Town night life you can enjoy in your lounge.

Every ticket bought will be issued a unique virtual ticket that will allow you to access our online stream. You will also receive a download link after the event to all the DJs sets recorded during the day.
