The Death of Glitter in partnership with 3FeetHi is proud to announce international DJs MikeQ and Chippy Nonstop on the South African leg of their virtual world tour.

MikeQ is a leading figure in the East Coast ballroom and vogue-house scene, MikeQ is the head of the Qween Beat collective and an active force behind the recent renewal of interest in the music. Most recently, he can be found as DJ on HBO’s new show LEGENDARY, which focusses on the New York ballroom scene and features Dashaun Wesley as MC and Jameela Jamil, Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach and Leiomy Maldonado as judges.

Chippy Nonstop is an undeniably audacious party starter, but there’s much more to the story. Chippy is a DJ, rapper, songwriter, writer, producer, activist and organizer of community events. She is of Indian descent, but was born in Dubai, grew up in Zambia, has citizenship in Canada, lived in Los Angeles, Oakland, New York, and currently resides in Toronto after a very public deportation. Chippy strives for balanced representation in music by producing these global workshops such as ‘Intersessions’, a sound initiative curated by and for women & the LGBTQ+ community.

They will be supported by local artists and D.O.G residents KRAS, Rose Bonica, Fela Gucci and DRAGMOTHER.
